At ŞA-RA, we have three PLC controlled, fully-automatic hot-dip galvanization facilities with a capacity of 250,000 tons/year and spread out over 16.000 m2 of indoor area. We carry out the galvanized coating of products such as energy transmission line products, hardware products and connecting units at this modern facility, in addition to providing galvanization sub-contraction to external clients.
Our facilities are capable of carrying out hot-dip galvanization at European (EN), US (ASTM), Canadian (CSA) and German (DAST) standards. In addition, we hold TSE TS ISO 45001, TS EN ISO 14001, TS EN ISO 9001, TS EN ISO 1461 and DAST Guideline 022 certification. We have the capacity to implement surface passivation and dulling processes following galvanization, according to customer requirements. There are few facilities in the world which can undertake dulling. This special process, which is especially significant for the North American market, allows us to provide a unique service for our customers.
Our first PLC automated fully-automatic hot-dip galvanization facility, which we commissioned at our Adana plant in 2013 has a capacity of 120,000 tons/year. This facility has a manufacturing plant that is 13 meters in length, 1.8 meters in width and 3.5 meters in depth and is situated in a 7,000 m2 indoor area.
Our second facility, which was commissioned in 2016, is specially designed for the galvanized coating of bolts and nuts. It has a centrifugal galvanization plant that is 7 meters in length, 1.5 meters in width and 1.6 meters in depth, is situated in 2,000 m2 of indoor area and has a fully-automatic production capacity of 10,000 tons/year.
Our third facility, which was commissioned in 2019, has a galvanization line that is 9 meters long. Situated in 7,000 m2 of indoor area with a plant that is 9 meters in length, 1.8 meters in width and 3.5 meters in depth, it has a capacity of 120,000 tons/year.
